About
I have been working in the WA Jewellery industry since 1995, nearly 28 years. I trained with an esteemed Master Jeweller - one of the oldest Family Jewellers in Perth. I was his last Jeweller.
Being a qualified Perth Jeweller I have worked behind the scenes for many WA jewellers, predominantly as a Manufacturing Jeweller/Designer, also restoring antique jewellery & repairing jewellery. I was also sizing rings, new bands or shanks, and remaking jewellery from old yellow gold into new white gold designs.
I became fellow member of the Gemmological Association of Australia after qualifying as a Gemmologist. A member since 2004, I’m also a Qualified Diamond Grader. I do Lapidary work, cutting & polishing Australian opals. I also cut stones to fit, replacing lost ones from Jewellery. Some opal repolishing can be done without being removed from settings. I have worked extensively with Australian South Sea Pearls in handcrafted Jewellery. I also restring pearls. I do decorative engraving work on bangles & rings.
